A Service Based Company
Mixed Recovery, Inc. is...
A company, a community and a process that supports a variety of approaches for dealing with life’s challenges. If you experience anger, depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma, mixed recovery offers a variety of proven suggestions and support. Our program includes a mixture of 12 step and other known recovery systems, philosophy and world religion. We are open to all 12 step groups and have no limiting traditions. We are open to people of all belief systems, gender identities and to the general public. The only requirement for membership is a willingness to apply some of the recovery related suggestions.
Mixed Recovery is an Omnist organization, and it is against company policy to convert people. Our aim is to provide recovery in a language that appeals to each individual’s beliefs and practices. We do not require abstinence for membership, we do not diagnose or apply psychology and we maintain non-professional status. Our website www.mixedrecovery.com is filled with free tools and educational materials, including forms for a complete inventory process that can be shared with whoever the user wishes.
It against company policy to solicit business from 12 step groups. However, we do train for both paid and unpaid recovery sponsorship and offer concentrated recovery sessions to the general public for donations. Our program offers tools and information that are not available in any other recovery system with an emphasis on grieving to increase empathy, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness.
The ultimate goal of our program is to give, receive and teach acceptance along with helping people create a new lifestyle that is healthy and balanced.
This book is intended to aid in the process of recovery and train those who are interested in becoming effective recovery sponsors. The text explores concepts that are not found in any other recovery program including a new and more complete description of the grieving process. These concepts and practices can be used to heal anger, depression, anxiety, addiction and most forms of trauma.
