I have been working with Jeff now for two years. I have been transformed emotionally, physically and spiritually. Jeff has been open to all forms of spirituality and has helped me find my own path towards Creator. Through this foundation, I have been sober for over two years with his support. I have been able to move past the "dry drunk" phase to reach a point where I have daily contentment and joy. This has been done through a lot of acceptance, following the Mixed Recovery steps, and focusing on what is in my control. I have been able to change from drinking all day everyday, with constant thoughts of using, to having a stable job for almost two years and healing my family relationships. I no longer have intrusive thoughts about going to the liquor store, instead I have thoughts of gratefulness for being alive. I am extremely thankful for Jeff and Mixed Recovery in providing me the tools and support that I needed to start living again.
I was also going through a court case regarding the custody of my children. Due to my initial drinking, I had received a bad reputation due to my non acceptance of the current circumstances and rejection of authority. Through my progress with Jeff I was able to accept the decisions of the court and learn to accept the rules in which I needed to follow. Jeff was willing to speak to my court appointees as well as the lawyer for my children. He spoke to both of them and even wrote a multi page letter on my behalf. He advocated and fought for me in a way that no one else had been able to. The result of this was for me to receive a new group of appointee's which were able to see my tremendous progress. I am now weeks away from regaining custody of my children.
I also highly recommend his book, Acceptance, which helped me accept what life throws at us, and realize what is in my control. It helped highlight the toxic and unhealthy relationships I had in my life and work towards creating a lasting peace by changing focus and putting my energy into healthy relationships. I have been able to improve the relationship with my parents and heal the distrust I created during my addiction. I will be forever grateful for the improvement in every facet of my life, thanks to Jeff Rounds and Mixed Recovery, Inc.
To whom it may concern, Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the invaluable support and guidance Jeff Rounds has provided during my journey through the 12-step programme. His sponsorship was instrumental in my recovery from addiction, and I am forever grateful for his kindness, compassion, and dedication.
Through his support, I was able to find the strength and courage to confront my addiction and take the necessary steps towards recovery. The 12-step program, coupled with your mentorship, helped me develop the tools and resilience needed to overcome my struggles, especially since I am a muslim.
Jeff's influence has had a profound impact on my life, and I am committed to maintaining my sobriety and continuing on the path of personal growth and self-improvement. I am confident that his contributions will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others seeking recovery.
A bid Thank You to Jeff!, for being a source of hope, encouragement, and ssupport. His sponsorship has been a blessing, and I pray that his efforts will continue to inspire positive change in others.
Sincerely, Hishaam Merckel
I only recently met Jeff during a period of my hardest time.
He is very special. Patient and able to explain everything in a way which speaks to me. I think what he experienced , his wisdom and talent makes him able to understand someone very well. I feel understood, I feel I am heard. Jeff, your work has paid off, and I hope that the work you will put in yourself in the future will enable you to connect to even more people who have lost hope to receive help they truly need. You are a growing soul. Thank you for all your help.
Hello, I'm Robert Jeff is my sponsor. He's been helping me for a while now and before him I didn't see the point in a sponsor. I thought I could do it myself, I was wrong. I'm bipolar paranoid schizophrenic I'm very anxious and depressed Jeff help me with that. Going through the steps in my recovery process I've honed some coping skills that help me deal with my mental illness. He's just a great sponsor and I'm very grateful that I reached out to him and he was available. He does a lot of good work and helps a lot. He's always there when I need to talk, sometimes he'll contact me and ask if we're going to meet on that day and that's helpful because I forget a lot.
I was sober for a while before working with Jeff and I thought sobriety was okay as long as I just didn't use but then working with Jeff I started my recovery path and that has helped me tremendously. Like I said, I've developed coping skills that have helped me deal with my mental illness along with keeping me sober. I believe now that I can stay sober as long as I continue my recovery with Jeff because especially going over my defects of character I've been able to address problems that have been staring me in the face that I didn't know I had. I didn't know that the ones I knew about were problems and I've been able to work through those. I've been able to build closer relationships, I've been able to see my therapist less, and have grown spiritually and became emotionally stronger.
I am very grateful for Jeff and all he's done for me and I thank him from the bottom of my heart.
In my recovery, Jeff is an amazing sponsor. He takes my recovery seriously. The wisdom on mixedrecovery.com is founded on self-awareness and inspired from religious truths, as well as years of one-on-one sponsorship with clients. Jeff helps guide me through the 12 steps that were developed through Alcoholics Anonymous and adapted for any recovery program, including: drug and alcohol addiction, sex addiction, and other bad habits caused by deep rooted life traumas. The inventory forms on this website provide a crucial and critical analysis of the fundamental causes of addiction. The questionnaires are easy to fill out, making them an indispensable tool in my recovery. I can access them easily through an app on my phone.
I enjoy growing into a better person by reflecting in phone conversations with my sponsor, who understands the nuances of addiction, how it is caused, and how to make amends. Jeff has written a book and created this website with qualified sponsors who have worked through the 12 steps themselves and can help anyone suffering from addiction to regain and keep their sobriety and sanity. The methods work. I am honored by their support and recommend mixedrecovery.com to my friends and family.
