Mixed Recovery, Inc., is an organization of trained non-professionals.  We accept donations for paid services with the average suggested payment of $50 per session (roughly one hour).

Mixed Recovery, Inc., DOES NOT diagnose conditions, act as therapists, practice psychology or require any formal education, degrees or certificates.  We do however certify the people who participate in our program and those who complete our recovery process.

The language we use is recovery based and in some cases we may disagree with popular opinions and clinical definitions.  In example, we reject the popular Kubler Ross model of grieving for one we feel is more accurate and complete.  We also reject most Freudian psychology particularly his description of Ego.  In addition we have our own definitions of certain terms including religion, trauma bond, addiction, gaslighting and codependency.

We reserve the right to discontinue working with any client at any time for any reason without prior warning or explanation.  We reserve the right to behave "unprofessionally" when anyone behaves hostile towards us.  This is based on our experience working with addicts and alcoholics who when in active addiction or when new to recovery can become hostile, unreasonable and abusive.

We encourage participation in traditional 12 step recovery groups and often refer to their literature. However, we have no formal affiliation with any particular 12 step organization and do not have any of their limiting traditions.

Mixed Recovery, Inc. is an Omnist organization and the things we teach are not just for the purposes of recovery, we consider them to be universal truth and part of our religious doctrine.  All of our teachings and support are available to the general public and most of them are available on this website for public viewing.
