Gratitude List

Resolving Resentments

Resolving Resentments

It is said that a grateful addict does not use.  This is because gratitude is the opposite of resentment, it happens when we hold appreciation for the people, places and things we already have in our lives.  People who are new to recovery are often encouraged to complete a gratitude list daily, listing at least 10 things they are grateful for to help them break the habit of having only negative thoughts.

Resolving Resentments

Our research has shown that the greatest cause of suffering is holding on to anger and/or depression.  Knowing this, we have created a process to help other resolve their past traumas and move into acceptance where they can once again enjoy peace.  It is a slow and emotional process, it begins with journaling exactly what happened and how it affected us.  To begin the healing process, click below.

Grieving the Lost Life of a Friend or Loved One

Trauma in the simplest terms, is trapped energy.  It can be caused by numerous things and at the core of trauma is the emotional signature of shame.  Most of recovery is intended to help us become honest and heal the traumas in our lives.  Also, most of our traumas form repeating patterns so until we identify and heal each of them, we will continue to attract people, places and things that will trigger us.  Please use this form to inventory your childhood traumas.
